Charitable Autism Spectrum Disorder (CASD), is a non-profit organization founded in 2024 with a shared vision and commitment to making a difference in the lives of children and youths affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other related developmental disabilities. Since inception, Charitable ASD organization has been at the forefront of empowering children and youths with ASD as well as their families and relatives while promoting advocacy campaigns, awareness and understanding in the broader community.

Charitable ASD Organization was initially registered as a community based organization (CBO) in 2022, but later upgraded its status from (CBO) to a nongovernmental organization (NGO) in 2024. This transition has broadened our scope of work since we now have offices in Nairobi, Nakuru and Kakamega where we have our head office.  In terms of capacity, CASD has increased its scope of activities by engaging in more extensive programs and partnerships with other likeminded organizations operating in the sector.

CASD has made commendable progress in its mission to support individuals with autism spectrum disorders and related conditions. Some of our achievements are in organizational development, community engagement campaigns and outreaches as way of creating awareness about the condition, and strategic planning that has set a solid foundation for future progress and growth. We remain focused and committed to our goal and mission of expanding our operations in order to make more and meaningful impact to the communities through fostering an inclusive environment for all individuals affected by ASD, as it is their human right to get access to affordable and quality services also equal opportunities that are available in society in order to live a decent live like any other human being.
